ABOUT DENTAL HYGIENISTS BEST CASE

DENTAL HYGIENISTS BEST CASE refers to Preventive Care Cases, Periodontal Therapy Cases, Oral Health Education and Promotion, Patient-Centered Care Cases, Advanced Technologies and Techniques, Interdisciplinary Collaboration Cases, Special Populations Cases ( pediatric patients, geriatric patients, patients with disabilities, or patients with systemic health conditions) Research and Innovation, alongside Maintenance Therapy, Patient Education, and Oral Hygiene Instructions.

PICTURES REQUIREMENTS - Before and After

(Patients should sign an informed consent form)

I. FACIAL PHOTOGRAPHY

• Full-face close-up smiling photo (front, lateral)
• Smile view: profile views - frontal, lateral, close-up

II. INTRAORAL PHOTOGRAPHY

• Retracted view, close-up lateral, buccal view, close-up lingual view, and close-up gingival view
• Treatment photos, Intraoral scans, Periodontal charting photos or Impressions will be beneficial for the evaluation

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

• Submit high-resolution JPG format photographs organized into appropriate subfolders, and ensure the file size is around 5MB or less. Avoid embedding photographs in PDFs.
• The case report must be between 1,000 and 1,300 words, detailing the treatment, and saved in PDF format only.
• Important: Avoid including your name on photographs or PDFs to ensure anonymous judging.
• All photos should be taken before and after treatment.
• Any photo editing or corrections will disqualify the case.
• No refund upon disqualification.

• Quality and Execution of Treatment
• Documentation Photos Quality
• Overall Treatment Impact on Smile
