The University of Sharjah College of Dental Medicine, Clinical and Surgical Training Centre (CSTC) and CAPP Events & Training have formalised a strategic collaboration to deliver the Clinical Certificate in Dental Implantology Program.

This program takes dental professionals through every aspect of implant dentistry — from the very foundations to the most advanced techniques. By the end, graduates leave with the clinical confidence and hands-on experience to independently place implants in their own practice.

Location

University of Sharjah, Sharjah, UAE — all clinical sessions, surgical training, and industry workshops conducted face-to-face on live patients within the University of Sharjah facility.

Start Date

11 September 2026 (Orientation Day) — 1 year program. Places strictly limited to 24 trainees. Application is open — early application strongly recommended as places are expected to fill quickly.

Live Patient Clinical Training

30 live implant placements per participant, under direct faculty supervision. Patients are provided by the program. Multiple leading implant systems used, exposing delegates to different clinical philosophies and schools of thought.

Program Structure

Split into four core teaching sections — didactic & hands-on modules, online case presentations, industry-led workshops, and clinical live-patient training sessions.

NIHS Accredited

Ref. NIHS/122/2026. The program fulfils the current requirements for obtaining privileges to practice Implant Dentistry in the UAE.

Faculty

Delivered by University of Sharjah faculty and international experts.

Target Audience

Practicing dental professionals holding a BDS, DDS, or DMD with a minimum of 3 years post-internship clinical experience and a valid dental practitioner licence.

Small Cohort

Maximum 24 trainees. Rolling admissions with interview. Personal attention given to each delegate throughout the year.

Payment

Payable in 5 installments via bank transfer or credit card.

Non-Commercial

non-sponsored educational program. All content is strictly evidence-based and delivered to the highest academic standards.

Training is delivered every Friday throughout the academic year, with sessions scheduled around UAE public holidays and academic breaks. Topics cover the full spectrum from biomedical foundations to advanced surgical techniques, digital workflows, and practice management.

Online
Case review sessions where trainees present and discuss their own cases with faculty, building critical thinking and treatment planning expertise.

Industry-Led Hands-On Trainings
Hands-on workshops led by the dental industry with Straumann, BioHorizons, Nobel Biocare, SDS (Swiss Dental Solutions), W&H, and CAPP — direct exposure to multiple leading implant systems.

Clinical Live-Patient Training
Wednesday 17:00–21:00 · Thursday 13:00–21:00 · Sunday full day.

Each participant is required to complete a minimum of 30 live implant placements and full restorations under direct faculty supervision, with patients provided by the program. Multiple leading implant systems are used throughout the program, exposing dental professionals to different clinical philosophies and schools of thought.
