Abstract
This round table training provides a comprehensive overview of skeletal anchorage, from introductory concepts to advanced techniques, with a focus on practical application. Attendees will gain in-depth knowledge about temporary anchorage devices (TADs), particularly palatal appliances using mini-implants, and understand their benefits in orthodontic treatment. Current techniques and workflows will be demonstrated through clinical examples.
In a practical exercise, participants will experience the digital workflow. Performing a mini-implant insertion in the anterior palate using an insertion guide and installing a metal-printed Beneslider will solidify the theoretical knowledge and improve the participants' confidence and skills in applying these techniques in their everyday practice.
