Prepless posts
Abstract
Endodontically treated teeth are different from non-endodontically treated teeth.
These teeth are weaker due to changes in their macro and microstructure.
In some cases, after endodontic treatment, some teeth will require additional restorative procedures in order to provide protection and to prevent fractures and cracks.
One of the restorative procedures that provides protection is post placement.
The lecture will cover the indications for post placement, and presentation of a post system that requires little or no post space preparation, with clinical case presentations.
This ensures that more tooth structure remains, no iatrogenic damage occurs, and the procedure is done with minimal chair time.
