An esteemed panel of judges — comprising prominent figures from the dental industry and wider society, along with representatives from leading international professional organisations in dental aesthetics — will carefully assess all submissions. The panel will select the top three cases in each category. Each jury member will cast their vote independently, with all cases anonymised prior to evaluation.




Prof. Adel Alhadlaq
Prof Alhadlaq holds BDS, MS, and PhD degrees and completed his clinical specialty training in Orthodontics from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2000. He has been a lecturer and Consultant in Orthodontics at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia since 2004. He has trained a large number of Orthodontic residents over the past 20 years, supervised multiple Master's and Doctorate thesis research, and has numerous publications in renowned and peer-reviewed journals. Prof. Alhadlaq has been on the Jury Panel of this Award since its establishment.
Prof. Ahmed Jamleh
Prof. Ahmed Jamleh is the Designated Institutional Official, Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies, and Program Director of Endodontics at the College of Dental Medicine, University of Sharjah, UAE.
Prof. Jamleh has a strong interest in Endodontic research and has established collaborative research projects with institutions worldwide. He has authored more than 75 original articles published in peer-reviewed international journals. He also serves as an academic editor and reviewer for several international journals and has delivered lectures and presentations at national and international conferences.
Prof. Hatem El-Damanhoury
Prof. Hatem El-Damanhoury is a professor of Restorative Dentistry and the program director of the MDS in Prosthodontics at the University of Sharjah, with 30 years of experience in academia, research, and clinical practice.
He graduated from Cairo University in 1997, then obtained his Ph.D. and finished his clinical training in Restorative Dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry, USA, in 2008.
His research focuses on dental biomaterials, adhesion, resin composites, dental ceramics, Dental Lasers, 3D printing, CAD/CAM, and Implant prosthodontics. He has published around 50 articles in many high-impact journals and conference proceedings.
Dr. Hatem is board-certified by the American Board of Operative Dentistry and a Certified CAD/CAM Trainer by the International Society of Computerized Dentistry, and he has extensive clinical experience in Comprehensive Care Dentistry, with a special interest in full mouth rehabilitation, Aesthetic Dentistry, Lasers, and Digital Dentistry.
Prof. Zahi Badran
Prof. Zahi Badran is a Professor of Periodontology and the program director of the MDS Periodontology program at the University of Sharjah (UAE). He is currently the Vice Dean of the college of Dental Medicine, and served for three years as Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies. He was previously a Professor of Periodontology at the University of Nantes (France).
He obtained his DDS degree from Saint-Joseph University (Beirut, Lebanon). He pursued his clinical training in Periodontology and Oral Implantology at the faculty of Dental Surgery at the University of Nantes (France). He has a MSc in Osteo-articular Biology from the University of Paris 7 and a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Nantes. He was appointed in the past Vice-Dean for educational affairs at the University of Nantes and has carried international learning and research collaborations as Adjunct Professor at McGill University (Canada) or visiting research fellow at King’s College London. He also co-founded” Ilham Badran-Education”, a non-lucrative association supporting students enrolled in Education Sciences university programs in France and Lebanon. He is currently an ITI fellow and the Sharjah study club director.
