GC EQUIA Forte HT: a glass hybrid restorative excelling in strength and aesthetics

The EQUIA system that GC launched in 2007 was the first glass-ionomer-based system that could be used as long-term restorative material in stress-bearing Class II cavities.

For glass hybrids, a mix of different particle sizes is used. An intelligent control of the distribution of these glass particles has been developed, improving the strength and handling in EQUIA Forte HT even further. Used in combination with the wear resistant EQUIA Forte Coat, EQUIA Forte HT is strong, not sticky and perfect for bulk-filling. The translucency has also been improved, for nicer looking posterior restorations. The refractive index of the matrix is matched with the fillers’. As a result, the final restorations will look more natural and aesthetic.

The durability of the EQUIA family as a long-term restorative for posterior restorations is proven by many clinical studies, up to 8 years1. The same and even better performance is expected for the glass hybrids EQUIA Forte HT: the follow-up of studies is still ongoing, with promising results in the first years.

These biomimetic restorative systems possess several advantages linked to the glass hybrid composition: chemical adhesion, high moisture-tolerance and low technique sensitivity; making them pleasant and easy to use on a daily basis. On the other hand, the risk of post-operative sensitivity is very low.

The EQUIA family therefore represents a decade of restorative therapy on the cutting edge – an impressive example of the expertise of GC in the field of restorative materials.

everX Flow from GC: the strength of fibres in a flowable consistency

everX Flow is the new fibre-reinforced flowable composite of GC. It is especially designed to replace dentine and reinforce restorations.

Most composites offer the perfect features for enamel replacement, such as high wear resistance and aesthetics. However, they are not able to equal dentine when it comes to resistance to fracture. This issue is overcome by the new everX Flow, which possess superior flexural strength and fracture toughness and efficiently reinforce restorations thanks to a high fibre content. It should be fully covered with a light-cured composite, such as G-ænial or Essentia to achieve a smooth and wear-resistant surface.

everX Flow will easily adapt to every preparation thanks to its optimal thixotropy, with less porosities as a result. Its controlled flow also enables placement in upper molars without slumping

everX Flow is available in two shades. The ‘Bulk’ shade has a depth of cure no less than 5.5 mm and is well suited for the fast restoration of deep posterior cavities. The ‘Dentin’ shade has a conventional depth of cure of 2 mm and offers an aesthetic solution with the same reinforcing properties.

With its incredible strength, two shades and easy application, everX Flow is about to become your new go-to product for challenging cases. It is also the perfect answer to an increasing demand for low-cost restorative alternatives for large and extended cavities in the post-amalgam era.

Take a step ahead with FujiCEM Evolve from GC

FujiCEM Evolve is an improved resin-modified glass ionomer made to provide ease-of-use and performance for your standard prosthetic works. This versatile material will give you peace of mind when luting metal-based as well as more aesthetic materials. Particularly zirconia restorations, but also composite, glass ceramic restorations and posts can be luted with FujiCEM Evolve as long as the proper indications are respected.

FujiCEM Evolve merits from GC’s expertise in resin modified glass ionomer cement, resulting in a simple luting protocol with less technique sensitivity than a resin cement: chemical adhesion for a simple one-step application, high moisture tolerance without rubber dam and low post-operative sensitivity.

This new product has the additional benefit that it comes in a light and ergonomic syringe enabling to either mix by hand or with an easy-to-place “Push and Click” mixing tip. Its optimal working time makes it possible to handle clinical challenges such as bridges, whereas its short setting time enables to work without losing valuable time. Additionally, FujiCEM Evolve can be tack-cured: after just 3 seconds of light-curing, the material immediately reaches the rubbery stage and the excess can be removed at once.

Thanks to the innovative composition using super-long chain monomers, a high bond strength to both restoration and tooth over time is established. Its excellent physical properties and its easy protocol make FujiCEM Evolve a valuable alternative to self-adhesive resin cements.

With its unique characteristics, G-ænial® Universal Injectable from GC will truly transform the way you work

Because G-ænial Universal Injectable has a flexural strength and wear that are comparable to conventional paste composites, expanded indications are possible. Its high thixotropy enables it to keep its shape or to spread on the tooth surface depending on the constraint applied on the material. That is why it can be used for many applications with simplified techniques, saving precious time. It is indicated for all restorations classes, from Class I to Class V in a very easy way; but also to build margins or to restore occlusal surfaces, cusp by cusp. Because it is so wear resistant, it is particularly interesting for the direct restoration of worn tooth surfaces. GC’s new silicone EXACLEAR has the perfect transparency and stiffness to be used with G-ænial Universal Injectable for the injection moulding technique.

On top of these handling advantages, this composite also offers great aesthetic possibilities with 16 beautiful shades including opaque & enamel shades. The ultra-fine barium particles with a very homogeneous dispersion also help to achieve a great gloss retention in time for a long-lasting shine – and a high radiopacity of 252% for an easy follow-up of your restorations.

G-Premio BOND

Believe in zero compromises

Zero compromises on performance
G-Premio BOND shows excellent, long-lasting bond strength on both enamel and dentin, regardless of the etching mode.

With G‑Premio BOND, we achieve an extremely thin film thickness of 3μm. These characteristics and the absence of HEMA guarantee the preservation of the bonding layer over time, ensuring durable aesthetics without discoloration.

Fears of patient discomfort from post-op sensitivity are also eliminated with G-Premio BOND: in self-etch and selective etch modes, the tubules are opened only slightly, while in total-etch mode the tubules are fully infiltrated thanks to the product’s ability to efficiently penetrate the dentin.

Zero compromises on manipulation
Operator error is almost impossible with G-Premio BOND. We have put great effort into making the procedure easy, with low technique sensitivity. The bond strength is not compromised if the waiting time is cut short, drying guidelines are self-explanatory and light-curing is very efficient thanks to the high photo-initiator content. We have even added a visual control to drying & light-curing, with the liquid displaying a yellowish colour before curing and a perfect invisibility after curing.

We have also minimised material waste thanks to a unique thin nozzle that releases up to 300 small drops per bottle.

Dare to go for…

  • Zero debondings
  • Zero discoloration
  • Zero post-op sensitivity
  • Zero mistakes
  • Zero hassle
  • Zero waste
