Prof. Dr. med. Dr. med. dent. Siegfried Jänicke, MD, DDS, PhD, is a distinguished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with over 40 years of clinical and surgical experience and more than 10,000 cranio-maxillofacial proceduresperformed. After completing medical and dental studies at the University of Mainz, Germany, he obtained qualifications in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery.

Throughout his career, Prof. Jänicke has held senior academic and clinical leadership positions, including Deputy Director of the Department of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery at Aachen University and Medical Director of the Department of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery and Aesthetic Facial Plastic Surgery at Osnabrück General Hospital. He was appointed Professor in 2003 and has led numerous international humanitarian surgical missions with INTERPLAST, providing cleft lip and palate treatment in the Philippines.

His areas of expertise include dental implantology, cleft lip and palate surgery, craniofacial surgery, tumor surgery, traumatology, orthognathic surgery, aesthetic facial plastic surgery, reconstructive surgery, and laser therapy in dentistry and cranio-maxillofacial surgery. Since 2020, he has been practicing as a Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgeon in private practice and serves as General Secretary of the German Society for Laser Dentistry (DGL).

A Fellow of ten national and international scientific societies, Prof. Jänicke is widely recognized for his contributions to cranio-maxillofacial surgery, education, and humanitarian healthcare.
