Experienced Dean of the College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University since 2019 with a proven track record in academic leadership, dental education, and clinical practice. Holder of two doctorate degrees in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Medical Education. A dedicated practicing maxillofacial surgeon, committed to community service and the professional development of students and faculty. 

Possessing comprehensive knowledge and direct involvement in higher education accreditation standards, successfully leading the College of Dentistry to achieve international accreditation from the Australian Dental Council (ADC) and local reaccreditation by the Commission of Academic Accreditation (CAA). This role also includes serving as a certified reviewer for CAA-UAE and significantly leading the development of competency framework for dental graduates in UAE. 

Expert in medical education, with profound insights into integrated and problem-based learning, curriculum design, interactive teaching, and students’ assessment. Instrumental in designing and implementing virtual patient simulation and e-learning courses to enhance dental education. Published over 60 articles in international refereed journals, contributing to advancements in virtual patients, dental implant surgery, and maxillofacial trauma. 

Extensive experience in hospital management, successfully leading the reaccreditation of Thumbay Dental Hospital by Joint Commission International (JCI) and the accreditation of the dental internship program by National Institute of Health Specialties (NIHS). Dedicated to the advancement of dental education, with a clear strategic vision for institutional development.
