Prof. Hani Tohme is a distinguished expert in the fields of prosthodontics, esthetic dentistry, and digital dental technologies. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1995. His passion for advanced dental sciences led him to pursue and complete a Master’s degree in Prosthodontics and Esthetic Dentistry, with honors, from the same university in 1999. Furthering his academic achievements, Prof. Tohme completed his Ph.D. in Biomaterials in 2022.

Throughout his career, Prof. Tohme has held significant roles in dental academia and practice. He previously served as the Head of the Removable Prosthodontics Department at Saint Joseph University of Beirut. He later founded and now heads the Department of Digital Dentistry, Artificial Intelligence, and Evolving Technologies at the university. In his private practice in Mtayleb, Lebanon, Prof. Tohme utilizes state-of-the-art facilities and the latest dental technologies to deliver exemplary care.

His commitment to advancing prosthodontics is also evident through his leadership as the Chairman of the Scientific Committee at the Lebanese Society of Prosthodontics. Prof. Tohme is an ITI Fellow and serves as the Director of the Zahle ITI Study Club. As a Key Opinion Leader for 3Shape and Straumann, he collaborates with leading brands in digital dentistry, and he is also a member of the Digital Dentistry Society in Lebanon.

A prolific lecturer and contributor to the dental community, Prof. Tohme shares his expertise in prosthodontics, implantology, and digital dentistry at international courses and conferences. His research and insights are published in several peer-reviewed journals, reflecting his dedication to advancing the field of dentistry globally.
