Hilary graduated from the University of Witwatersrand, in South Africa in 2002, earning the Oral Hygienist Association of South Africa's (OHASA) award for most outstanding Dental Hygiene student; achieving  top honours in Pathology and also being awarded the Golden Key International Award for being one of the top 15% of students in the Health Sciences Faculty across 17 international universities . While working in clinical practice, Hilary was offered the opportunity to work in Dubai in 2006, where she has remained to date. In 2015 she became actively involved in the Emirates Dental Hygienist's Club, and took over the role of president in August 2018.

Hilary is a certified biological hygienist and has a keen interest in functional medicine, herbology and nutrition.

Hilary's vision for the future is to unite all medical and dental professionals with the common goal of healing the human body.
