Gonçalo Pinto graduated as a Dental Technician from the University of Lisbon in Portugal in 2006, and has over 17 years of experience in the dental field.

He practiced as a CDT for approximately 5 years in various laboratories in Portugal, specializing in the areas of Acrylic, Fixed Prosthetics, Ceramics, Implants, and CAD-CAM.

During the same period, he also worked as a Professor, teaching a "Dental Technician Assistant" course at Jaime Cortesão High-School in Coimbra, Portugal.

In 2010, he was invited by a premium implant company to be a Special Consultant for Digital CAD-CAM Solutions in the Iberia Region, where he traveled to different customer locations and events in both countries to provide training and technical guidance.

Later in 2011, he moved entirely to the dental implant industry and became a Digital Specialist for Nobel Biocare in Portugal, where he worked for 10 years in several functions including Sales, Support, and International Training & Education.

In June 2021, he joined StraumannGroup, the leading company in implant dentistry. His combined experience allowed him to join the management team for Digital Solutions as the Regional Sales and T&E Manager for the EMEA region.
