Dr. Jan Paulics received his DDS from Karolinska Institute in Stockholm in 1993. During more than 30 years in dentistry, he has worked in both municipal and private clinical settings, with a particular focus on implant surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, and prosthetically driven treatment.

Throughout his career, Dr. Paulics has been an early adopter and advocate of digital dentistry. He has extensive experience in digital treatment planning, guided surgery, intraoral scanning, and advanced workflows for dental practices and laboratories. His work has focused on developing practical, predictable, and cost-effective solutions that improve clinical outcomes and support efficient collaboration between dental professionals.

Dr. Paulics has also worked as a project manager for the Swedish public dental sector, contributing to the acquisition and implementation of practice-management systems and the evaluation and selection of digital imaging solutions for dental practitioners.

He currently serves as Senior Clinical Advisor at 3Shape, where he contributes clinical expertise to product development, education, and the implementation of digital dental workflows.

Dr. Paulics is an internationally recognized lecturer and frequent speaker at scientific congresses, educational programs, and professional dental events worldwide. He is known for presenting complex clinical and digital concepts in a practical and accessible manner, supported by extensive hands-on experience.

His professional interests include implantology, prosthodontics, guided surgery, digital diagnostics, artificial intelligence in dentistry, and the integration of digital technologies into everyday clinical practice. Through his clinical, educational, and advisory work, Dr. Paulics remains committed to advancing dental care and supporting clinicians in adopting new technologies safely, efficiently, and predictably.
