Since 2014 is a Research Professor in Restorative Dentistry, Università Vita Salute San Raffaele, Milan. Associate member of AARD (the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry) and Active Member of the AIC (Italian Academy of Conservative and Restorative Dentistry). He is involved in Adhesive Cosmetic dentistry and runs his private practice in Rome, Italy. 

Dr. Paolone served on the board of AIC (as a Secretary) in 2018-2019, and on the scientific committee (2020-2022). Dr. Paolone is a Lecturer in the Master in Esthetics and Restorative Dentistry, the University of Bologna, Italy and in the DU in Esthetic Dentistry in Montpellier University, France. Author of the book "Restauri diretti nei settori posteriori" (Direct Posterior Composite Restorations), Quintessence pub, 2018 translated in english, german and chinese. Author of the book "Restauri diretti nei settori anteriori" (Direct Anteriors), Quintessence pub, 2020. Author and co-author of several publications in scientific international journals and contributions in some textbooks; Lecturer in national and international courses and congresses.
