DDS, MSc, MSc — Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry and Laser Dentistry
Dr Gabi Schindler-Hultzsch is a Board Member of the German Society of Laser Dentistry (DGL), an active member of the International Society for Laser Dentistry (ISLD) and an adjunct faculty member at the Aachen Dental Laser Centre (AALZ) at Sigmund Freud University in Vienna, Austria.
She received her DDS from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, a Master of Science degree in Paediatric Dentistry from Philipps University Marburg and Justus Liebig University Giessen, and a Master of Science degree in Lasers in Dentistry from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, qualifying as a specialist in paediatric dentistry and laser dentistry.
Since 2007 Dr Schindler-Hultzsch has lectured as an invited speaker nationally and internationally, and teaches laser-assisted paediatric dentistry at Philipps University Marburg and Sigmund Freud University in Vienna. As Head of the Aichach-Friedberg Division of the Dental Association of the Swabian district (ZBV Schwaben) and of the Society of Oral Health and Nutrition, she also teaches for the Bavarian Association of Dental Health (LAGZ).
Her current research interests centre on the digital workflow, including cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), scanning and artificial intelligence in combination with laser-assisted surgery and orthodontic therapy, as well as low-pain management and laser-assisted treatment of molar incisor hypomineralisation (MIH) in children.
Dr Schindler-Hultzsch is a pioneer in minimally invasive laser-assisted paediatric dentistry, combining innovative technology with gentle treatment tailored to children and young adolescents. She is the founder of the Laserkids™ Concept, the first comprehensive approach to laser-assisted paediatric dentistry.
