Dr. Balint Molnar is Associate Professor at the Department of Periodontology, Faculty of Dentistry, Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary. He received his DMD degree in 2004 (summa cum laude), defended his PhD thesis in 2013. He was granted the "Young Researchers Program"' award in 2016 sponsored by NSK Europe GmbH. He received the Semmelweis Merit award in 2017. He received the Semmelweis Innovation award for the most innovative clinical research in 2018. He is a fellow of International Team for Implantology, member of several national and international professional societies (European Federation of Periodontology, delegate; Hungarian Society of Periodontology, secretary; Hungarian Society of Implantology, member). He is a qualified specialist for periodontal regenerative surgery, root coverage procedures with autogenous and xenogeneic materials, hard- and soft tissue reconstruction around dental implants.
