Dr. Thaisa Bordin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM), a faculty at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) Boston MaxiCourse, and a clinical Prosthodontist in private practice in the Boston area, USA. Dr. Bordin received her first dental degree (DDS) from the State University of West of Parana in Brazil, complemented by a certificate in Prosthodontics, a Master of Science (MSc) and a Doctor of Philosophy in Dental Sciences Program (PhD) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. She then received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from TUSDM. 

Recognized educator and clinician, Dr. Bordin is renowned for her national and international lecturing engagements and contributions to scientific literature, having authored many articles and book chapters. Her commitment to excellence in dental education is reflected in accolades such as the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Emerging Academic Leaders Program, AAL Advancement of Women Faculty in Clinical Professions Scholarship and multiple TUSDM Dean’s Awards for Outstanding Teaching Services.

Actively involved in professional organizations including the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) and the International Team for Implantology (ITI), Dr. Bordin contributes significantly to the field through her leadership roles in educational development and research. Fully trained and experienced in esthetics and prosthetic rehabilitation on natural teeth and implants, she integrates advanced techniques and technologies into her practice, aiming to advance patient care and the prosthodontics field as a whole.
