Centre for Advanced Professional Practices (CAPP) was established in 2005 in Dubai, UAE, with a mission to deliver excellence in Dental Continuing Medical Education (CME) across the Middle East and beyond. CAPP is an American Dental Association (ADA) C.E.R.P Recognised Provider (since 2012), specialising in Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) dental education programmes.

Growth
For the past 19 years, CAPP has facilitated 2,097 CME programmes educating 482,441 international participants. Ever since 2005 CAPP has experienced year-on-year growth and in 2024 alone CAPP educated 81,455 international dental professionals. The sharp increase of number of participants in 2020-2024 compared to previous years is driven by online education – complimentary for all dental professionals conferences and webinars. In 2024 alone, CAPP organised 148 online webinars and delivered 198 days of hands-on training in its training center.

37th Int’l Dental Confex CAD/CAM Digital & Oral Facial Aesthetics - 2024
On 15-16 November 2024, CAPP hosted 5,964 dental professional attendees over two days of dental-focused conference & exhibition at the esteemed Madinat Jumeirah Arena & Conference Centre in Dubai, UAE. The largest scientific gathering organised by CAPP marked the apex of dental excellence in the Middle East, comprising an array of scientific conferences, a targeted exhibition with complimentary access, CME training zones, multidisciplinary hands-on training courses, dental awards, round table trainings, seminars, poster presentations, and an illustrious awards gala ceremony spanning from 14-18 November 2024. Renowned international speakers, including Prof Ronaldo Hirata, graced the occasion with their invaluable insights.

CAPP is the organiser of the two leading dental scientific conferences in the region: CAD/CAM & Digital Dentistry Conference & Exhibition (1st edition in 2005) and Dental Facial Cosmetic International Conference & Exhibition (DFCIC) (1st edition in 2009). For 2023, 2024, 2025 and going forward, CAPP is combining its two annual scientific events into one major international meeting named “39th Int’l Dental ConfEx CAD/CAM Digital & Oral Facial Aesthetics”. This leading international event will include the sub-events of CAD/CAM & Digital Dentistry Conference & Exhibition, Dental Facial Cosmetic International Conference & Exhibition, Clinical Endodontics Symposium (CES), Clinical Implantology Symposium (CIS), Digital Orthodontics Symposium (DOS), Pediatric Dentistry Symposium (PDS), Holistic Whole-Body Health Symposium (HWBHS) and Dental Technician International Meeting (DTIM).
CAPP offers over 200 days of hands-on training courses per year across a broad spectrum of subjects. Classes vary in length from one-day seminars and short hands-on training courses to long-term Professional Training programmes in Restorative, Aesthetic, Endodontics, Implantology, Periodontology, Lasers and others. All programmes are certified from the authorised accreditation entities. Most of CAPP’s training courses are taking place at the CAPP Training Institute located in Dubai, UAE.
In 2020 CAPP launched its Online Educational Platform called CAPP Online Dental CME Self-instructional Education. The content is non-commercial, unbiased and delivers high-quality evidence-based education. The programmes allows participants the flexibility to work at their own pace from any location at any time. The content is international, drawn from the upper echelon of dental medicine, in terms of perspective and subject matter. CAPP organises Online Webinars which are delivered free of charge to the dental professionals on various multidisciplinary topics supported by many different dental industry manufacturers such as Dentsply Sirona, Formlabs, Straumann, Acteon, Oral-B (P&G), Align Technology (Invisalign), FKG, NSK, Ultradent, TBR Implants, Colgate-Palmolive, Lyra, Centrix, Itena, Carestream, Curaden, GSK/Haleon, Sprig, Aidite, Shofu, Mani, NuSmile just to name a few.
