Group 11 of Clinical Endodontics Training Programme with Prof. James Prichard begins at CAPP Training Institute, Dubai

The latest edition of the Clinical Endodontics Professional Training Programme officially launched with Group 11 on 23–26 May 2025 at the CAPP Training Institute in Dubai. The programme is led by UK-based endodontic expert Prof. James Prichard and is awarded by the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry (BARD) and CAPP-Tipton Dental Academy, carrying 112 CME hours.

This comprehensive training is designed to take dentists from foundational principles to the management of advanced and complex endodontic cases. Topics include:

  • Modern concepts of canal preparation
  • Use of rotary and reciprocating files
  • Rubber dam isolation
  • Management of endodontic mishaps
  • Post-endodontic restoration
  • Surgical and non-surgical retreatment
  • Microscope-enhanced endodontics

The training is structured into two progressive levels:

  • Level 1: Two modules, each 4 days (total 8 days)
  • Level 2: Two modules, each 4 days (total 8 days)

Each module includes 50% hands-on training, using dental microscopes, phantom heads, and full clinical units. Participants work with four different endodontic systems, gaining practical exposure to a wide range of tools and techniques. The course is independent and non-sponsored, ensuring purely educational and unbiased content.
