Abstract
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, implant patients have significantly increased their demands. We all understand that time is too valuable to be wasted. We were all forced to reconsider our implant treatment principles from a temporal perspective by this dramatic frame of life. However, this is true in both directions. Our patients are anxious to get back on track with their teeth as soon as possible, and as professionals, we want to provide them with quick fixes.
Straumann's new implant system, iEXCEL, was just in time, and it was supposed to be the ideal answer to our time-consuming treatment ideas. For both bone and tissue level implants, New System provides two distinct implant cutting designs (X-Line and C-Line).
The primary benefit is unquestionably a quicker recovery period with better osseointegration because of active anchoring through the bone. Additionally, the restorative portion is made simpler because a single implant-abutment connection is compatible with all implant types and is digitally friendly with innovations that enable us to obtain an impression even during the implant insertion phase.
