Abstract

Over the last few years, the advancements made in composite resin materials and bonding technology have made possible the routine use of these materials in anterior and posterior teeth. These improvements have significantly modified the operative techniques and possibilities for the restorative dentist. During the webinar, the following will be addressed and discussed by means of interesting clinical case reports:

• The use of ultrasonics for cavity preparation
• The benefit of air abrasion
• Protection of adjacent teeth during cavity preparation
• Predictable interproximal contacts 
• Deep margin elevation technique for direct restorations
• Reattachment of fractured fragments on anterior teeth
