This course looks in detail how we can assess and treat these potential aesthetic pitfalls.
Aims
The two days will cover:
- What is meant by the term “periodontal aesthetics”.
- Explore how to do an aesthetic periodontal assessment
- Discuss soft and hard tissue aesthetic integration
- Review the options for periodontal aesthetic surgical treatment
- Practical experience with surgical techniques to achieve optimum periodontal aesthetics
Outcomes
The participants will be able to:
- Carry out a comprehensive periodontal aesthetic assessment
- Understand the relationship between gingival contour and aesthetics
- Be able to discuss how periodontal aesthetics will improve restorative aesthetics
- Be able to discuss relevant surgical procedures with patients
