Abstract
Covid-19 pandemic has impacted our daily lives and we (dentists) have been forced to adapt to a “new normal” where cross-infection control, minimally invasive treatment and building patient confidence has taken center stage. The advances in composite resin technology and the development of bioactive restorative materials has further enhanced the capabilities of direct restorative materials helping clinicians transform patients’ smiles with predictable outcomes during these challenging times.
This presentation will focus on the “keys to success” when adopting Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry (MICD) for direct smile makeovers using bioactive composites with simplified finishing and polishing protocol to meet the patient’s aesthetic demands.
