Dr. Nana Zhdanova is a distinguished orthodontist and educator with over 20 years of professional experience. She graduated from the University of Yerevan, Armenia, in 2003, completed her residency in Moscow in 2005, and earned her PhD in 2008. Since 2012, she has specialised in aligner therapy and became officially certified in the Invisalign system, later achieving Diamond Provider status.

From 2013 to 2022, Dr Zhdanova served as the Clinical Director and Official Speaker for Align Technology until the company’s exit from Russia, where she played a key role in training and mentoring orthodontists. She has also been a Sirona-certified CEREC Ortho Trainer and former Head of the CAD/CAM Department at a Moscow university, where she trained postgraduate dentists in digital dentistry and CEREC workflows.

An accomplished author, Dr Zhdanova has written two books—one focusing on bite issues in adults and children, and another dedicated to aligner treatment for orthodontists. She has been an invited speaker at numerous international conferences, congresses, and seminars, sharing her insights on advanced orthodontic techniques and digital innovation.

As an entrepreneur, she founded NANATECH, an aligner manufacturing company in Russia, and owns two specialised dental clinics in Moscow dedicated to aligner therapy. Currently based in Dubai, where she has lived for three years, Dr Zhdanova is the Medical Director and Co-Founder of Zenon Clinic, where she continues to advance the field of transparent orthodontics through innovation, education, and patient-focused care.
