Dr Marcus Engelschalk graduated in dentistry in 1997 at the University of Würzburg, Germany. From 1997 until 2000 assistant doctor in Munich and postgraduate studies at the University of Zurich and Vienna. Certified in Implantology by the German Association of Implantology (DGI) in 2002. Attendee of the post-graduate Master program in Laser in dentistry at the University of Aachen, Germany.
He established his own practice for dentistry and implantology in Munich and from 2003 – 2015 responsible physician for oral surgery and implantology at the Arabella Clinic, Munich for outpatient and inpatient treatment.
In 2014 founding the Private Dental Office for Periodontology and Implantology in Munich together with Prof. Dr José Gonzales.
Dr Engelschalk was a clinical instructor for the Diode Laser in dentistry and is lecturing national and international about digital implantology and digital implant prosthetics and is an author of different publications on guided implant surgery and laser dentistry.
Currently, he is Chairman of MegaGen International Network of Education and Clinical Research (MINEC) Germany and Interims Chairman of MINEC Europe as well as founding editor of the scientific magazine of MINEC Europe.
He is a global ambassador for SlowDentistry in Germany and the founder of the SlowDigitalDentistry concept.
