Dr Lawrence Yong is an orthodontist in full-time practice. He is the founder of PKWY Dental Specialist Practice clinics in Singapore.

Dr Yong qualified from the University of Malaya in 1995 and went on to complete his Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics at the National University of Singapore in 2002. He was inducted as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2002 and was conferred as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore in 2006. His research in 3-dimensional space analysis using virtual models of teeth won the International Association of Dental Research (SEA) Travel Award in 2002.

Dr Yong’s interest in digital orthodontics has enabled his team to successfully adopt the use of clear aligners in both children and adults. He is an Invisalign Diamond provider and education faculty member for Align Technology. Dr Yong is a familiar face to clinicians in Asia where he has lectured extensively in the field of orthodontics.
