Dr. Hatem El-Damanhoury is an associate professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University ‎of Sharjah, with more than 25 years of experience in academia, research, and clinical practice. ‎He graduated from Cairo University in 1997, then obtained his Ph.D. and finished his clinical ‎training in Restorative Dentistry at Indiana University-School of Dentistry, in 2008. ‎

His research work focuses on dental biomaterials, adhesion, resin composites, dental ceramics, Dental ‎Lasers, 3D printing, and CAD/CAM, with over 35 international publications in high-impact journals and ‎conference proceedings.  Dr. Hatem is board-certified by the American Board of Operative Dentistry and a Certified ‎CAD/CAM Trainer by the International Society of Computerized Dentistry, and he has a long ‎clinical experience in Comprehensive Care Dentistry, with a special interest in full mouth ‎rehabilitation, Aesthetic Dentistry, Dental Lasers, and Digital Dentistry. ‎
