Dr Tatis is currently working as International Science Director at the Orthokinetic Training Center in Colombia, and at the University of Isaac Newton of Costa Rica. It is part of the Research Group of the Imbanaco Medical Center in Colombia and is a researcher accredited by the Administrative Department of Science, Technology and Innovation from Colombia – COLCIENCIAS. Dr Tatis received his Specialist degree in Orthodontics from the Militar University of Colombia. Dr Tatis completed his Mini-Residency Program in Temporomandibular Disorders and Oro-Facial Pain from the University of Kentucky in the U.S.A. And has received multiple post-graduate training programs in orthodontics and related areas in different countries. He then worked for 11 years as Chairman of the Orthodontics Program at the Colegio Odontológico Colombiano University and served as Associate Professor at Dental Program at the same University in Colombia. Dr Tatis has authored several publications in various journals and six books in Diagnosis and Orthodontics. His publications reflect his research interests in Orthodontics, Occlusion, TMJ and TMD. Dr. Tatis is also an Associate Editor of the Journal Revista Mexicana de Odontología. Dr Tatis is the author of six patents in dentistry. Dr Tatis is serving as a member or fellow in the Colombian Association of Orthodontists, a member of The American Association of Orthodontists and a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists. He is currently international speaker in many countries of América, Europe, Asia and Oceania. Dr Tatis is awarded or honoured by the Junior Chamber of Colombia for the research and developments carried out in Osteogenic Distraction, Honorable Board of Directors of the Colombian Dental College in 2004 and 2012, Departmental Assembly of the Valley State to the Life and Scientific Work.
