Chris Barrow has been a leading consultant, trainer, and coach to the UK dental profession for over 30 years, with a wider career spanning 55 years in both corporate and entrepreneurial roles. Originally in financial services, Chris transitioned into coaching in 1993, becoming one of the UK’s first certified coaches and founding The Dental Business School in 1997. His 12-month coaching programmes have since impacted over 2,500 dental practices across the UK.

Renowned for his dynamic speaking style and sharp business insight, Chris has been featured in the “Dentistry Top 50” list every year since its launch. He is a prolific writer, popular blogger, and contributor to the dental press, and coauthor of *Profitable Dental Practice* and *The E-Myth Dentist*.

Chris is the founder of *Extreme Business*, a coaching brand supporting independent dental practices worldwide through mentoring, live workshops, digital resources, and practice visits. His flagship “Extreme Business 100” programme helps 100 practices annually to double profits in 36 months.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Chris created the *Regeneration Coaching Programme*, guiding dental teams through lockdown and recovery. He also advises the charities Bridge2Aid and The Mouth Cancer Foundation and once appeared as a “castaway” on *The Island with Bear Grylls*.

Now aged 71, Chris has no plans to retire and continues to support forward-thinking dental leaders with energy, humour, and clarity. A retired marathon runner and active long-distance cyclist, he enjoys remote adventures—ideally where there’s no Wi-Fi.
