Dr. Jaafar Mouhyi earned his high school diploma in 1983 from Abou Al Abbas Sebti College in Marrakesh, Morocco. In pursuit of his passion for dentistry, he embarked on a transformative journey that took him across borders. He relocated to Belgium in 1984 and enrolled at the Free University of Brussels (ULB) Dental School.

In 1995, Dr. Mouhyi embarked on a groundbreaking PhD thesis as part of an International Research Collaboration program between the Free University of Brussels and Sahlgrenska Academy at Göteborg University. His thesis was directed by Prof. Lars Sennerby and Prof. Jack Walter Van Reck, and he successfully defended it in 1999.

From 1994 to 2000, Dr. Mouhyi held the position of Head of the Department of Oral Rehabilitation & Implantology at St. Pierre University Hospital in Brussels, Belgium. He also served as the President of the Moroccan Society of Periodontology & Implantology (SMPI) from 2004 to 2005 and represented the Moroccan Society of Periodontology at the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) from 2002 to 2005.
For over two decades, from 1995 to 2016, Dr. Mouhyi dedicated his expertise as a researcher in the Department of Biomaterials & Handicap Research at the Institute of Clinical Sciences, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Göteborg, Sweden.
He further expanded his global influence by serving as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Diagnosis Sciences at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA, from 2004 to 2013.
Since 2006, Dr. Mouhyi has been the Founder & Director of the Casablanca Oral Rehabilitation Training & Education Center in Casablanca, Morocco. He also held the position of Visiting Professor in Oral Surgery in the Postgraduate Implantology Program at Naples University, Italy, from 2014 to 2018.
Dr. Jaafar Mouhyi is renowned as an international lecturer, having delivered more than 300 lectures and courses in 35 countries. He has also authored numerous papers on topics spanning Biomaterials, Peri-implant Pathology, Platelet Concentrate Technologies (PRP, PRF, PRGF), Computerized Guided Implant Surgery, and Oral & Maxillofacial Implantology.
