Prof. Dr. Burak Buldur completed his undergraduate and doctoral education at Sivas Cumhuriyet University, where he has been teaching pediatric dentistry since 2013. As the youngest Professor of pediatric dentistry in Turkey, he currently serves as a full-time Professor at the same university. He has held various roles, including Editor-in-Chief, Guest Editor, and editorial board member of numerous international journals. He is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the international journal "Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry" and the President of the annual “International Congress of Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry (ICCPD)”, which attracts participants from over eighty countries. 

Prof. Dr. Buldur was ranked 3th in the World in Pediatric Dentistry based on ScholarGPS Highly Ranked Scholars list. In 2021, Prof. Dr. Buldur was also recognized as one of the "World's Most Influential Scientists" by Stanford University, ranking in the top 2% among 7 million researchers globally for his academic and scientific contributions. He has numerous international scientific publications, is an editor and author of textbook chapters, and actively reviews for over thirty SCI-indexed journals. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD) and the European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (EAPD). His research interests focus on dental anxiety in children, behavior management, pediatric endodontics, regenerative endodontics, and qualitative research in dentistry.
