Dr Garino graduated as MD at the University of Torino, Italy and his orthodontic specialization Department of Orthodontics, University of Padova, Italy. 

He is a Diplomate of the European Board of Orthodontics (EBO) and ordinary member SIDO (Italian Society of Orthodontics), International Member American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), Member European Society of Orthodontics (EOS) and Active Member European Society of Lingual Orthodontics (ESLO). He is a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontics (WFO) and was Chief Dental Officer at the Winter Olympic Games in Turin in 2006. 

Founding Member of the European Aligner Society (EAS), EAS past president 2018-2019, EAS Scientific Chairman 2022-2023. He is an author and co-author of more than 80 papers both on Italian journals and international journals in orthodontics. Dr Garino is also editor and author of the book " Principles and biomechanics of aligner treatment" published by Elsevier  in 2022. 

Dr. Garino is a speaker in congress and meetings in Italy, Europe, Middle East USA and Canada. His clinical interest is focused in early and teen treatment and all digital technologies applied in orthodontics. He has been a speaker for Align Technology in EMEA since 2008, with Invisalign Platinum Elite Provider status since 2006, and is a current member of Align Technology’s Scientific European Advisory Board and has contributed to several pilots on align materials and treatment procedures.
