Dr Chew Ren Jie Jacob is an accomplished dental professional specialising in periodontics. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2014 and his Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in 2019, both from the National University of Singapore (NUS).
He currently serves as an Academic Fellow at NUS and a Registrar in the Department of Periodontics at the National University Centre for Oral Health. His clinical and academic interests lie in periodontal therapy, dental education, and research.
Dr Chew has received several prestigious honours throughout his academic and professional journey, including multiple placements on the Dean’s List during his undergraduate studies, the Christensen’s Prize from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, the LION Dental Research Award from the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), and the IADR Medal in 2019.
He is recognised for his commitment to both clinical excellence and research in the field of periodontics.
