Dr. Laszlo Parkanyi graduated from the University of Szeged, Faculty of Dentistry, where he received his DDS degree. He attended a postgraduate Periodontology program at the same University and three years later he obtained a specialty degree in Periodontics, where he also received a second specialty degree in Implantology. Currently, he maintains two private praxises in Szeged and Budapest, mainly implantology and related regenerative surgery. Dr. Parkanyi is a regular assistant lecturer teaching students at the University of Szeged, where he is also involved in research as a PhD student. Besides teaching at the University, he is regularly doing regenerative implant surgery-related courses. Dr. Parkanyi is focusing on research and daily clinical practice on hard and soft tissue regeneration related to implant therapy. He is a member of the Hungarian Association of Implantology, the Hungarian Association of Periodontology, EFP (European Association of Periodontology), and ITI (International Team for Implantology).
