University of Sharjah invites CAPP to College of Dental Medicine Advisory Board

The University of Sharjah has invited Petar Mollov, Director and shareholder at CAPP Events and Training, UAE, to join the Advisory Board of its College of Dental Medicine, placing the company within a select group of senior healthcare, academic, and policy figures involved in shaping dialogue around dental education and sector development in the UAE. The Advisory Board meeting took place on 11 February 2026 at the University’s Main Building, EMBA Hall.

The appointment reflects the University of Sharjah’s wider effort to connect academic institutions with experienced voices from across healthcare, policy, and industry. The College of Dental Medicine Advisory Board brings together senior decision-makers, practitioners, and academic leaders whose roles are closely linked to the College’s priorities and future direction, with Petar Mollov included among them representing CAPP.

The meeting agenda further underlined the strategic nature of the gathering, featuring remarks from the Chancellor, an introduction of members, the election of the Advisory Board President and Vice President, presentations on the University’s highlights and the Advisory Board’s role, and recommendations concerning the College of Dental Medicine.

Prof. Zahi Badran who serves as Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies and Professor at the University of Sharjah also had a presentation representing the various new projects of the Dental Collage.

The Advisory Board included Dr. Abdelaziz Saeed Obaid Bin Butti Almheiri, Chairman of Sharjah Health Authority; Maryam Majid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Social Services Department; Dr. Mohamed Sulaiman, President of the Emirates Dental Society Board of Directors; Dr. Noura Juma, Consultant Pediatric Dentist and Coordinator of the School Oral Health Program and the Oral Health Promotion Program at EHS; Dr. Hasna Ahmad Alseed, Consultant Orthodontist and Head of the Orthodontic Unit in Dubai Health, DHA; Dr. Haifa Hannawi, Director of Dental Department at Emirates Health Service, EHS; Dr. Noora Aburahima, Chief of Pediatric Dentistry Department; Dr. Alaa Al Atta, Specialist Endodontist at GMC Clinic Dubai; Dr. Elham Emami, Dean of McGill University Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences and Petar Mollov, Director and Shareholder at CAPP Events & Training, UA.

Seen in that context, CAPP’s presence on the Advisory Board signals the level of recognition the company has achieved within the UAE dental and healthcare landscape.
