A CME and CPD accredited scientific webinar organised by CAPP and supported by P&G Health took place on 12 June 2026, attracting 3,815 registrations from pharmacists, general practitioners, family medicine physicians, internal medicine physicians, haematologists and other healthcare professionals across the Middle East. Titled Advancing Everyday Care in Respiratory Health, Sleep Support & Digital Practice, the four-hour live programme ran from 2:00pm to 6:00pm KSA and was moderated by Dr. Ahmad Mousa.

The webinar was accredited for an expected four CPD credits by the Dubai Health Authority and two CPD credits by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, supporting continuing professional development requirements for practitioners across the region. The strong registration figure reflected sustained demand among regional pharmacists and physicians for evidence-based guidance on everyday clinical presentations and the integration of digital tools into routine practice.

The scientific programme addressed four areas of everyday care. Dr. Mohammed Al-Sheef opened the clinical content with a session on cough and cold management, focusing on evidence-based over-the-counter care and patient counselling. Dr. Ashraf Shaaban examined the role of melatonin in supporting natural sleep, while Dr. James Sterrett and Dr. Anthony DeClue jointly presented on guideline-directed therapy in diabetes combined with motivational interviewing. John Hertig closed the programme with a session on artificial intelligence and predictive analytics for adverse drug events and clinical decision making.

Across the four sessions, faculty placed consistent emphasis on the role of the pharmacist and physician as the first point of contact for common presentations, the importance of structured patient counselling in over-the-counter care, and the responsible application of digital and predictive technologies to medication safety. The combined focus on respiratory health, sleep support and digital practice gave attendees a practical framework that bridged established clinical evidence with emerging tools.
