Panadol Ultra and CAPP webinar examines pain and fever across ENT and emergency practice

A clinically focused educational webinar organised by CAPP and supported by Panadol Ultra took place on 11 June 2026, addressing one of the most common diagnostic challenges in daily practice: the management of pain and fever. Held live from 9:00pm to 10:00pm GST, the one-hour session combined emergency medicine and ENT surgery expertise to give clinicians a practical, evidence-based approach to recognising, triaging and managing these presentations with confidence.

In the first presentation, ENT Infections Presenting with Pain and Fever: A Practical Approach, Dr. Abdul Razzak Shahod Juratli explored the spectrum of ENT infections that present with pain and fever, covering tonsillitis, otitis media, sinusitis and deep neck space infections, with practical insight into clinical assessment, red flag identification, antimicrobial selection and the criteria for surgical escalation.

In the second presentation, Pain and Fever in Emergency Practice: A Practical Approach to Common ER Presentations, Dr. Zoubir Boudi addressed the emergency physician's approach to febrile patients in pain, focusing on rapid assessment frameworks, differential diagnosis, risk stratification and evidence-based management protocols for the busy emergency department. Taken together, the sessions offered a multidisciplinary framework relevant to emergency physicians, ENT specialists, family medicine practitioners, paediatricians and allied healthcare professionals.

A full recording of the session is available to watch on demand at the Haleon HealthPartner platform.
