Orthodontic treatment efficiency depends on the duration of treatment (actual hours of practice use), the cost of used materials, and chair time in terms of man/hours. Also, effectiveness is the results of various factors related to the outcome of treatment. The purpose of this presentation is to discuss ways to improve in both areas, by using a newly introduced self-ligating bracket and designing the treatment as to taking maximum advantage of passive self-ligation and its possible benefits. A fair number of clinical cases extending throughout the range of malocclusion will be presented.
