Abstract

More and more patients require to improve the color of their teeth: for this reason Dentists and Dental Hygienists must be ready to meet their requests and expectations. The bleaching is a practice that, if properly used, can be very satisfactory with low cost and high biological respect. Of course, as all the therapies that we do, the best results can be obtained only with specify protocols and safety and efficacy materials.

During the course we’ll talk about "cosmetics" bleaching and "therapeutic" bleaching for example non-vital teeth, teeth affected by fluorosis, tetracycline discolored teeth, teeth that need to be restored with direct restorations or veneers or full-ceramic crowns etc. A lot of time will be spended to the explanation of techniques and to the choice of the most useful product for each clinical situation.

• Perform in office whitening treatments with long-lasting results
• Carry out whitening treatments for non vital teeth and avoid relapses
• Create trays according to the MOBI technique for home whitening treatments

• Manage possible complications and unwanted side effects
