This presentation is an in-depth reflection on where Sleep Medicine has been, where it is today, and makes the case for a very different but exhilarating future for both providers and patients. This is a call to the profession to move beyond the limitations and fading paradigm of Sleep Medicine 1.0 forward to Sleep Medicine 2.0. A model for how to bring providers of all stripes out of their silos and allowing for far greater collaboration and effective treatments will be revealed, and the central role of dentistry will be highlighted.
