Abstract

Learn about guided surgery general rules and objectives, discover different tools necessary to master the clinical outcomes of digital implant-prosthodontics in your practice and try it hands-on. In this course, you’ll learn about the possibilities and limitations of digital implant-prosthodontics from straightforward to advanced level of cases.

The first day of the course will take you through the planning of guided surgery. You’ll learn to use the CoDiagnostiX software and control your implant-prosthodontics, as well as surgery, for predictable and repeatable results. You’ll plan surgical guides and learn how to get a perfect ready-made, screw-retained temporary restoration for your patient before you even place the implant.

The second day of the course will give you a chance to work hands-on with a guided surgery system. You’ll understand the differences between different guided surgery systems and place implants in the models controlling the prosthetic outcome of the treatment perfectly. You’ll also learn about intra-oral (IO) scanning, with hands-on workshops for implant-based restorations and practical tips & tricks.

A perfect continuation of the course, “Guided surgery & digital workflow in implant dentistry, Level 2” with Prof. Hani Tohme will take you smoothly into further digital work, going into complex cases such as full arch implant restorations. <Register here>
