Abstract
At Fibonacci Dental Studio, a peer-to-peer educational lecture has been developed to bridge the gap between the clinical and technical aspects of modern prosthodontics. Combining more than 20 years of clinical and laboratory experience, the lecture presents a structured and reproducible workflow in which diagnostic precision, functional philosophy and digital technologies operate as one integrated system rather than separate steps.
The lecture demonstrates how high-quality diagnostics and accurate data acquisition directly influence treatment predictability. Participants are guided through the entire process, with the rationale behind each stage explained and the practical advantages of a function-first, digitally integrated approach highlighted.
The programme covers the complete workflow, from the initial scan to the final functional outcome. It explains how to evaluate scan quality, apply correct intraoral scanning protocols, and integrate facial scanning and photographic documentation for accurate aesthetic and functional planning. Special attention is given to the diagnostic value of axiography, myography and TENS-based deprogramming. Using real clinical and laboratory cases completed with these functional protocols, participants gain practical insight into how clinicians and technicians can work together within one coordinated digital ecosystem to improve communication, efficiency, precision and long-term treatment outcomes.
