Abstract

It starts with the initial examination and the full jaw scan for new patients. The perfect 3D representation makes excellent communication easy, enables planning of crowns, bridges, implants and drilling templates. It goes as far as making aligners, impression-free splint fabrication, functional analysis, recession and movement analysis of individual structures and teeth.

An Intraoral Scanner can do much more than first impressions suggest.

I would like to think "out of the box" with you and show that it is easy and effective to obtain additional information about the patient's bite situation. A full jaw scan at the initial visit as a first indication of malocclusions, as a basis for a digital mock up or for comparison at later time intervals. Tooth position and movement during orthodontics can be easily visualized and analyzed using specialized Softwares.
