This course combines lectures and Hands-on sessions featuring implant placement with bone augmentation procedures utilizing animal jaws that simulates the daily clinical situation. The lectures focus on implant placement, bone biology, bone graft material classifications and indications, lateral bone augmentation with simultaneous implant placement, extraction and immediate implants and sinus lifts using an internal and external approach. During the hands-on sessions, participants will perform procedures demonstrated in the lectures.

 Introduction to Dental implants:
  •   Biological & Clinical elements in successful Implant treatment.
  • Implant placement in edentulous ridges, extraction sockets and with Sinus lifts.
10.15 – 11.30  
Bone Biology, bone grafting material, and procedures.
Ridge augmentation using particulate bone graft: indications and techniques, Vs Bone Blocks.
11.30 – 12.00

Implant Placement: Surgical protocol.
13.00 – 14.00

 Implant Placement on Animal Jawbones:
  • Incision Techniques.
  • Flap Elevation.
  • Implant Site preparation- Implant insertion.
  • Suture material and techniques.

 Particulate Bone Graft procedure on Animal Jaw Bones.
