Course Structure
This course consists of three parts - two half-day theory and one full-day hands-on training:
- The theory (3 hours) will be delivered to the delegates via Online Virtual LIVE Classroom Coaching on 22 & 30 May 2020.
- The hands-on training (full-day) will be delivered face-to-face in the autumn of 2020 (date to be announced).
This course on the inter-relationship of periodontics and restorative dentistry is a step-by-step programme in the form of lecture, demonstrations and practical sessions.
Aesthetics has become a fundamental part of dental practice over the past 20 years and patients’ expectations of a good aesthetic outcome are at an all-time high.
Beginning with how the inter-relationship of periodontics and restorative dentistry help form the ideal oral aesthetic, we then explore how we can modify a patient’s periodontal structures to assist in producing a good aesthetic result.
We will explore both inadequate crown high and recession and how these impact on aesthetic outcomes. We will then delve in the planning and treatment options available.
Course Outline
- What is meant by the term “periodontal aesthetics”.
