Deep caries is a daily challenge for every dentist, it’s a very common problem due to the high incidence of dental caries in the developing world. The aim of this talk is to highlight the techniques used to manage deep caries lesions and how to determine the caries removal endpoint for each individual case. Conservative caries management disrupts the tooth death spiral preventing future tooth loss.
