Abstract
Success in implant dentistry depends majorly on accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan. With an increasing demand amongst patients for a youthful and attractive smile, there has been evolution of aesthetic dentistry. The evolution of aesthetic dentistry is the product of digital technologies, techniques and materials. However, the esthetic rehabilitations of patients with functionally compromised dentitions or bone still remain a challenge. The aim of this lecture is defining the problems and determining the root cause (diagnosis); identifying, prioritizing and selecting alternatives for the best treatment plan by following a patient-oriented approach. Use of digital technologies and novel implant products and surfaces for better aesthetic outcomes.
