Shed a light on polymerisation – Does it affect your success with aesthetic direct & indirect restorations?

Date: 25 November 2023 | Time: 10:00-11:00 (GST) | Location: Online Event

Abstract

Highly aesthetic direct composite restorations have become increasingly popular in almost any dental office around the world. Clinicians need to fulfill their patients` increasing expectations regarding aesthetics, functionality and durability for both anterior and posterior direct composite restorations.

At the same time, the clinical procedures need to be carried out in the most efficient way to optimize the revenue for the dental practice – without sacrificing the quality of the final restorations.

Recently, new restorative systems have been introduced into the market. They possibly have the potential to save significant chairside time during the clinical workflow. The question is, however, whether dentists need to compromise in terms of aesthetic outcome and the overall longevity of the restoration.

This lecture will introduce new techniques and materials to place direct composite restorations faster and more efficiently – with a strong focus on the important light polymerization technique.
