The Digital Workflow in Computer Guided Implant Surgery
Abstract
Digitalization of the surgical and prosthetic workflow has made treatment outcomes more precise and predicted. This paper evaluates the use of digital technology in various stages of case evaluation, treatment planning, and its implementation in the surgical and prosthetic phases of a computer guided implant surgery. The authors aim to assess the measures taken to lessen errors and increase precision, using cone beam computer tomography and 3D printed open surgical guides, for implant restorations.
