Terms of payment
These Online Payment Terms apply to the use of the online payment transaction services (the Services) for the payment of certain types of transactions as made available by Centre for Advanced Professional Practices EVENTS Dubai, UAE from time to time through the CAPP EVENTS website.

These Online Payment Terms constitute a contract between you and CAPP EVENTS. Please read them carefully. You may either accept or decline the Terms as indicated at the bottom of this page, but to make payment using the Services you must accept the Terms by clicking "I Accept".

Please note that the Online Payment Terms may be altered or added to by the CAPP EVENTS at any time that CAPP EVENTS determines necessary, with or without notice. Please, therefore, ensure that you read the Terms carefully on each occasion that you use the Services.

Payment of registration fees
The registration fees can be paid in Dirhams (AED) or US dollars.
Payment may be made using only Visa or MasterCard Credit cards or Debit card.
Once a payment has been made it cannot be cancelled.

Refund/Cancellation policy
A Refund of the registration fee will be made as follows:
- Notification in writing 40 days prior the event -50% refund.
20 days prior to the event - no refund can be given.

Discounts
Only one(1) discount may be applied to an individual registration. Under no circumstances can any of the discounts be combined. Your registration must be paid in full in order to receive the pricing for those discounts.

Privacy Policy
All personal data provided to the Organizer for registration will be treated as confidential. The data shall be used and stored for further processing and documentation purposes. The information will not be re-used for an incompatible purpose.

Prof. Paul A. Tipton, UK is an internationally acclaimed Specialist in Prosthodontics who has worked in private practice for more than 30 years. He is the President of the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry (BARD) and is the founder of Tipton Training Ltd, one of the UK’s leading private dental training academies and the author of over one 100 scientific articles for the dental press. He has been named at #12 in ‘The Dentistry Top 50’ for 2017 in the UK and voted in the Top 20 ‘most influential dentists in the UK’ by his peers in Dentistry Magazine in April 2012, the leading Prosthodontist in the poll. Prof. Paul was also voted in the top 5 dentists in Private Dentistry’s Elite 20 poll, January 2012.

He gained his Master’s Degree in 1989 from the Eastman Dental Hospital and London University and started teaching on the University of Manchester’s MSc in Restorative Dentistry. He is now Professor of Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry at the City of London Dental School. His private dental training academy, Tipton Training, was founded in 1991 and to date over 3000 dentists have completed a one year course at the Academy.

Mr. Gary Jenkinson, UK
Gary Jenkinson is a dental technician with over 20 years experience in the dental industry. He owns and runs Art Dental Studio based in Sheffield. Gary has a good knowledge of all aspects of dental technology, specialising in ceramics, minimally invasive feldspathic techniques and Smile Design.

Gary has learnt from Christian Coachman how to implement the digital smile design protocols both in the US and the UK and has worked with Cherrybank Dental Spa to develop protocols for DSD within a team of dentists, specialists and laboratory technicians.

He is an Ivoclar Vivadent UK Opinion Leader and uses and teaches the use of the IPS e.max system and other Ivoclar Vivadent products. He has also lectured on many subjects within the UK , including dental material choice, colour communication, implants, inter disciplinary team work as well as many other subjects.

Course Aim
Attending this course module will help delegates...:
  • Identify the characteristic facial outlines and landmarks for anterior and posterior teeth
  • Distinguish the mesial and distal ridges or lobes on the facial surfaces
  • Discuss the implications of the mesial and distal marginal ridges on- reflecting light and modifying the apparent length and width of the tooth
  • Consider the three planes of convexity to the labial surface
  • Recognise the similarities between the lateral and central incisor
  • Discuss variances in the size and mesioincisal angle of the central and lateral incisor
  • Appreciate the canines prominent mesial lobe and distal flat or concave surface
  • Understand how tooth angulation and shape influence the incisal embrasure size and gingival zenith position
  • Understand posterior teeth occlusal contact points (ICP?)


Course Objectives
By the time the delegates has completed this cours will...:
  • Establish a rapport with their Technician through an enhanced anatomical vocabulary
  • Illustrate the predominant features which identify anterior and posterior teeth
  • Cognize how manipulation of the anatomy can influence apparent dimensions and brightness
  • Waxing-up exercises to demonstrate an appreciation for anterior tooth and posterior tooth anatomy
