Terms of payment
These Online Payment Terms apply to the use of the online payment transaction services (the Services) for the payment of certain types of transactions as made available by Centre for Advanced Professional Practices EVENTS Dubai, UAE from time to time through the CAPP EVENTS website.

These Online Payment Terms constitute a contract between you and CAPP EVENTS. Please read them carefully. You may either accept or decline the Terms as indicated at the bottom of this page, but to make payment using the Services you must accept the Terms by clicking "I Accept".

Please note that the Online Payment Terms may be altered or added to by the CAPP EVENTS at any time that CAPP EVENTS determines necessary, with or without notice. Please, therefore, ensure that you read the Terms carefully on each occasion that you use the Services.

Payment of registration fees
The registration fees can be paid in Dirhams (AED) or US dollars.
Payment may be made using only Visa or MasterCard Credit cards or Debit card.
Once a payment has been made it cannot be cancelled.

Refund/Cancellation policy
A Refund of the registration fee will be made as follows:
- Notification in writing 40 days prior the event -50% refund.
20 days prior to the event - no refund can be given.

Only one(1) discount may be applied to an individual registration. Under no circumstances can any of the discounts be combined. Your registration must be paid in full in order to receive the pricing for those discounts.

Privacy Policy
All personal data provided to the Organizer for registration will be treated as confidential. The data shall be used and stored for further processing and documentation purposes. The information will not be re-used for an incompatible purpose.

Course Description:
Crowns or veneers? Pressed or layered porcelain? These are some of the options we provide for patients, always having their interest at heart. While some of the clinical cases have obvious solutions, many of them leave us choosing between the treatment options and unsure which is the best. The lecturer will discuss the advances in veneers and the issues dentist's and patient's face in this whole new world of modern dentistry. Tips on proper, accurate impressions taking techniques, provisionals and veneer cementation with the right cements will be discussed. Participants will be performing the following on models:

  • Veneer preparation with & without palatal extension & diastema situations
  • Impression taking
  • Temporisation
  • Cementation

Dr. Carlos Sabrosa, Brazil
Dr. Sabrosa is an Associate Professor of the Department of Restorative Dentistry and the Director of the Center for Technology Development at the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro Dental School, Brazil. He received his DDS in 1992 from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro Dental School and the Clinical Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) Degree in Prosthodontics from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, USA, in 1996. Dr. Sabrosa also received his Master of Science and Doctor of Science Degrees in Prosthodontics/Biomaterials from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, USA, in 1997 and 1999 consecutively. He received the Steven Gordon Research/Clinical Award in 1995 and 1996 and the Tylman Research Grant Award in 1993 from the American College of Prosthodontics. He has a private practice, focused in Oral Rehabilitation and Implantology, in Leblon, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
